Island House - Waiheke Island Coastal home with southwest view and north-facing courtyard. A simple form is designed not to dominate its rural location. Secondary roof/pergola elements provide shelter and shade to the edges of the house. Completion due December 2011.

Anzac West Precinct - Future Development Options - Takapuna, Auckland - Development of a future vision for intensification of four urban blocks adjacent to Takapuna town centre as part of a multidisciplinary team. Work initially involved facilitation of a series of workshops with councillors, community meetings, a community workshop and feasibility studies for the land-use potential of the area given certain development scenarios. We developed a vision that included a new laneway and park refurbishment and later developed a public space design to guide road engineering design. A Plan Change resulting from this work was notified towards the end of 2010.

Urban Master Plan - New Zealand City Centre Feasibility and master planning work for a CBD fringe area. Involves reworking of the existing roading network to repair pedestrian routes through the area as well as consolidating and optimising development lots.

Devonport Master Plan - Devonport, Auckland - After winning a two-stage open design competition SvB was engaged to work with North Shore City Council and the Devonport Community Board to develop a master plan for the Devonport town centre, including the waterfront and existing wharf building. Isthmus is currently documenting Marine Square and we are working on Clarence Street area.

Hurstmere Green - Takapuna, Auckland - We are currently documenting for construction this public urban park upgrade in Takapuna town centre. The design aims for a more active park by providing better connections between the park and surrounding buildings, more usable grassed areas and improved pedestrian routes. Construction is expected to begin after the Rugby World cup in 2011.

Queens Wharf Competition Finalist - Downtown Auckland - In conjunction with Construkt we were one of eight finalists in the ill-fated competition for public space and a cruise ship terminal on Queens Wharf at the bottom of Auckland's main street.
