Thom Gilbert

Through his university studies and his four years in the industry Thom has maintained a particular interest in sculpting and shaping of materials - developed through digital design competition entries and 1:1 material detail studies.

He has also become interested in digital documentation and design techniques inspired by the work of Mark Burry on the Sagrada Familia and the drawn description of complex geometry.

He has recently completed the final paper for a Bachelor of Architecture at Auckland University and is now working at Constable Hurst Architects in Kingsland.
